On November 15, 2024, the Sunshine Coast community laced up their walking shoes for SEA FM’s annual Kicks for Kids charity event.
The mission was to raise funds for Inclusive Kids who are a charity based on the Sunshine Coast, dedicated to giving local children a fair go. They focus on helping disadvantaged kids access essentials like school supplies and sports gear, making every child feels included and supported in our community.
This year, the Bush to Beach Legal team laced up their shoes and joined the Sunshine Coast community on the 12 hour walk from Happy Valley in Caloundra to Mudjimba Surf Club. The involvement from Luke, Skye, Jo, Simone, Mel, Izzy and Kellie highlights the firm’s strong commitment to giving back to the community and supporting local kids.
Bush to Beach Legal proudly partnered with other sponsors, including Cricks Volkswagen and 91.9 SEA FM, contributing to the incredible $60,000 raised during the event. This funding will provide shoes and back-to-school essentials for children in need, ensuring they can focus on learning and growing without the barriers of financial hardship.
Luke and his team at Bush to Beach Legal embody the spirit of the event, combining professional excellence with a strong dedication to community welfare. “Being part of this initiative was a privilege,” Luke shared. “It’s not just about raising money—it’s about ensuring that every child feels included and valued.”
As SEA FM sets an ambitious goal of delivering 2,000 pairs of shoes to local children for the 2025 school year, the Sunshine Coast community is proving once again that when we come together, incredible things happen.
Bush to Beach Legal is honoured to support the Sunshine Coast community through initiatives and community sport including the Sunshine Coast Netball Association and the Sunshine Coast Phoenix basketball program.
